Heat fans are divided. Lots are excited for the playoffs. If Heat wins 2 games in play-in. And some also want them to rest already. Then the other teams are wary of the Heat again entering the pos. Haha.
Yes, I do not want to appear like I am on the fence on this issue. I believe the Heat has a zero chance of making any noise in the playoffs. I believe the sooner the season ends with a play-in loss, the sooner they can begin to make needed changes to make the team more competitive and relevant. I also hope they don’t waste the whole offseason chasing Giannis. If they want to get him, and the Bucks are willing to accept an offer (without totally gutting the team), fine. Otherwise, move on. This will be one of the most important offseasons in many years.
ny or la
?
greeks going to one of those 2 teams hes talked about it preferably ny hes dreamed o fplaying at msg since he was a young athenian .thought u could read my mind ?
I agree with your stance on the team, but I’m less confident that they’ll make the needed changes. I think despite all Riley’s talk about winning titles, he and Micky and clearly content to just be a stepping stone for the rest of the East to walk over.
there not content but riley doesnt have wade.wade was the best gm in heat history wade was the best player in heat history.wade made riley look like sunman.u take wade away rileys rc
I agree.
Kind of a sad send off as it’s the end of an era. It’s possible that things will never be quite as good as we had it till now. I already couldn’t watch the Panthers for the last several weeks. Good thing they weren’t worth watching. And I believe the Marlins are really being subsidized by mlb. Scripps going broke really was a shame for us fans.
Coach Doc fired…to pacify Giannis?
Hmmm,🧐
About time.
doc is great on the tube.not so much coaching.i believe he was up 3 0 with a griffin paul d jordan team and lost the series.unforgivable
lemelo ball can shoot charlotte right out of game very easily how many times as he chucked 3s at a 2 12 rate.more often than not.
Charlotte will be all hopped up about the play-in. And we may be, not blasé, but perhaps a little less amped. I think we are better than Charlotte, but not so much better that the Hornets couldn’t win from the energy from the home crowd.
43-39. Heat was 37-45 last season. So its an improvement albeit small one post quitter. Got to count for something. They have a looong way to go before getting competitive again.
We are going to have to Hush hush sweet Charlotte.
one hush is deep purple
Betty Davis movie, 1964, pretty good one, made as a sequel to Whatever happened to Baby Jane? The difference in our ages, me being four years older, maybe why you don’t know that movie, if you don’t know it.
“Thought I heard you calling my name.”
wow your 73 u look 30
Atlanta coach choosing to play Knicks instead of Cavs could come back to bite him.
Think the main goal is to get their team playoff experience. Finishing in the top 6 after trading Trae, Porzingis and their 3pt shooters Kennard and Krecji at the trade deadline is found money
My point is that they go from 5 to 6, Cavs to Knicks. I think the Knicks are the better team of those two. Either way, they were going to get playoff experience. Correct me if I’m wrong on this – if they beat the Knicks, the second round would be against Detroit (assuming Detroit wins round 1)? Is this a strategy to avoid the Celtics in Round 2?
I agree. I think it was a mistake to not play the starters.
I agree with you, I think NYK is better. Sounds like NBA consensus opinion is split over who is better, NYK or CLE. An ATL writer Brad Rowland asked 13 NBA people who they would rather face as ATL in the first round, and 6 said NYK, 7 said CLE
Interesting. Thanks.
there not beating either rc.tier 2 team vs tier 1 teams
Did you see where I said they would beat either team? Who is the better team, Cavs or Knicks?
close 50 50 even
That’s probably true too, but they would have had a slight chance against Cleveland. They have no chance vs NY.
kat in the playoffs dont trust that guy knicks will fall short again kat will be a buck next year greek will be in msg
Goldin bucket after an impressive block.
Ending their regular season on a high note. Still in play-in. Ouch!
eric t y so much u are one great announcer sir
I think he is so underrated. He should be remembered as one of the all time greats and not just here but nationally.
he s my fav announcer all time rick weaver mad dog up there but hes not national guy 30
What about Sonny Hirsch?
thats real old school he did the canes games for a while wow sonny hirsch havent heard that name in a half century 30
Absolutely
u over 70?
Yes
vlad block sweet
biamantes last dos minutos
e reids voice still great cant say that about elton john jon bon jovi
Goldin sighting!
I have to say something nice about another team. If you look at the line-up Boston put on the court tonite, they seem like they have no business beating Orlando. Boston seems to get the very best out of their players. Maybe their coach is the best or their talent evaluators. Something is very right about that franchise.
Magic were 13 point favorites also, wow. COY candidate in Mazzulla vs prob the first coach to be fired this off season in Mosley. Mosley will be the fall guy for ORL not being a very good team
And look at some of the diamonds in the rough that team uncovered, especially Quetta. Finding and developing Quetta just might be the final piece of a real possible championship team again.
has kj leaped ware in the rotation
Neither KJ has leaped Ware. And it’s no contest.
kj 21mins ware 13
Fix your web, Ware has 29 minutes
ware 30
Poured it on to start the 4th
We do have the sixth man of the year. Beautiful play by Jaime. After a pretty assist too.
He really deserves to win it!
yes portis n reid right there though
kj steal jjj behind back wow beautiful
The last quarter of Heat and Eric on Fan Duel. Supposed to move to strictly streaming next season. Announcers will be staying, thank goodness.
Sports is going to cost starting next year but will only get more expensive.
I’ve been watching for many years on the same local channel. The ownership of the station has changed, but the number didn’t. I’m going to miss that, but at least we don’t lose Eric. That would have been a disaster.
crutty can go bring back tony
can knoepple guard or is he another herro
jjj improvement from last year to this year mindboggling a jjj scratcher
Both games going as expected. Looks like the Kaseya Center will be empty till Fall of 2026,, except for concerts.
ufc also that was awesome last night
Id say rest everyone and play 3rd team. Rest em up to play-in so loooong rest actually since no playoff if ever haha
Bam averaging 20.0/10.0 so this game is about getting him to 20/10 for the first time, and as a team building rhythm heading into play in vs CHA. The critics will say it’s not a legitimate 20/10 season, would be 19/10 if you take out the 83 vs the tanking Wizards
20/10 is kind of meaningless. Doesn’t change the fact that this team is mediocre and has little to no future hope.
The goalposts move a lot on this stuff. First he’s not a legit big because he doesn’t score enough ppg, then he has 20/10 with first team all defense, team is +6 in his minutes for the season but it’s still called meaningless. They’re a top 5 defense in his minutes. It’s more like All-NBA level impact, guessing he doesn’t make All-NBA though because of the FG% being 44%
bams a good third option severely overpaid.that contract is a problem
He makes 30% of the salary cap. If Heat traded him teams would be lining up to take on that contract
hes a complimentary player better have a couple better on team he cant be your first or second best player
Hawks made a good decision trading Trae. Question is can they sustian this improvement.
Hey everyone. The games going well. But, if the Hornets lose, they really suck because the best Knick playing is Bridges.
Exactly.
Final game. Non bearing for Heat. For Hawks?
Oh…RC already stated that
In the 5 seed, Hawks would play the Cavs. If they drop to 6, they’d play the Knicks, which seems like it would be a tougher series. Why is Atlanta tanking this game, ‘resting’ Jalen Johnson and playing with no starters? Who would you rather play, Cavs or Knicks?
Let’s………
…go to play-in
