The Miami Heat have lost four of the last five games and are currently in the midst of one of the most difficult stretches this season. And it isn’t getting any easier.
After three consecutive double-digit road losses to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Indiana Pacers and OKC Thunder, respectively— the Heat are back home. However, they face some tough matchups in these next few home games against some contending opponents, beginning with Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns Tuesday night.
Booker has led the Suns to an encouraging 24-15 record in the West, averaging 25.3 points, 6.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds on 46% shooting. Additionally, Phoenix’s new addition in Dillon Brooks has had a terrific year for the Suns. Brooks has flourished with his new team as he has put up a career-high 21.2 points on 45.6% from the field.
For Miami, they are still attempting to figure out the right lineups, roles and rotation with Tyler Herro back in the fold— making this current stretch even harder. Bam Adebayo is still slumping offensively, as the former All-Star big man has failed to reach the 17-points mark for 11 consecutive games. Norman Powell, after being sidelined in Miami’s previous loss, is listed as questionable with his sore back.
Can the Heat earn the bounce back victory tonight? Let us know in the comments below!

“The Heat, for what it’s worth, really should begin a rebuild and should not only try to unload Tyler Herro, but should weigh the market on Bam Adebayo. That’s what they should do, logically. But, as the exec said, “Pat Riley is 80. He’s not doing a rebuild and they are not dealing Bam.”
Heavy Sports (1/12/26)
After unloading KD and Beal, the Suns have made a remarkable one year turnaround. Although Phoenix has only one star, Booker, it is playing an exciting brand of basketball.
Riley and Spo have much they can learn from the Suns’ management and coaching staff…like how to assemble a winning team and get the most out of players. I can imagine how much better the Suns would be if they had Bam (younger version), Ware, Powell or Jaquez.
