- Latest report says Giannis Antetokounmpo’s preferred destination is Heat or rival Celtics

If Heat get Sixers without Embiid, they may get lucky. If they win they play loser of #5 vs #6 teams for playoff spot. Please no. My heart and ego can’t handle another massacre.
7 vs 8 I believe you mean
Yup. I’m already losing focus waiting and hoping for a merciful ending to this “gap year” season.
Heat has a 47-50% chance making the playoffs. If they make it they’ll face the Pistons. And I don’t want to get my hopes up again if they started winning. We know teams have incentives making the playoffs but Heat fans are hard pressed between consistent mediocrity and a surprise performance that will eventually crash and burn.
They can’t beat the Raps, Magic, Celts. Well, maybe one more try vs Magic if they face them in the play-in. Defense is bad this season. They may have “solved” the offensive puzzle but mediocre on d. One more win and lets call it a season.
Wait…if we win one more regular season game and lose the play-in that’s a 42-42 record right? This might be the end of our play-in reign lol
oop, you’re right I think
Hmm, if they end 42-40, then lose play-in, 42-41, right? You have me confused.
Oh yeah…my math is not mathing lol
(42-40 +1) = 42-41
In The Divine Comedy, I read that the torture in Dante’s first circle of hell was humans have to watch last season’s 4 game playoff sweep on a continuous never ending loop.
Yikes. So to avoid that hell they need to lose in the play-in.
hou 91 phily 66
why cant bam be like ingrahm similar size and skills.he just doesnt want it enough i believe
Two completely different types of players.
Despite a torrid stretch, it all ends in another disappointing loss. And, truthfully, many of these defeats have been blowouts. The Heat will win 42 most likely, but are, as the Michael Myers character on SNL, Linda Richman would say, “ no big whoop.” We could have been better if we just made a few minor adjustments, but we got crickets from our GM. Just keeping Precious would have probably gotten us a sixth seed. And maybe one more move and we would have been competitive. It’s a damn shame.
I don’t know about that sixth seed idea with a career 8/6 guy.
Maybe, maybe not. But, it was our biggest weakness.
he would have helped for sure
That I agree with and, like others, I’ve been preaching that all year.
Riley made the decision not to do anything to improve the team before the deadline, thus accepting mediocrity. It looks like he is also not interested in extending Powell, Wiggins or Herro.
There’s no rush to extend any of those players, especially if we are looking at trade options this summer. Powell can be used in a sign and trade. Wiggins has a player option for next year. He can opt out for a longer contract, but there’s no rush to make that decision at this point.
shoot 56% 40 from 3s down by 20 wtf
Defense went to shit.
Eventually this franchise will have to undergo a “trust the process” Sam Hinkie rebuild after Riley and Elisburg are gone. Trade everyone and stockpile picks.
mickey will never do that he needs those seats filled $$
Oh right, a team headed to their fourth play-in in a row will have fans lining up.
the team at times plays great at times doesnt, when we are playing great a spo sub will stop that asap
The team is what it is, what we’ve been saying, mediocre. Now 41-39. There are only 12 teams in the league with worse records.
There will be changes, but they won’t trade everyone.
Trade the ones that yield first round picks.
i stood next to goldin wow he was like a 7ft granite statue.what a build
gardners in good i want a fight
can toronto win the east rc?i think they have a shot.
I don’t think so
dav is as quick as tyreek hill wow
torontos gone all chocolati no vaniila accept in middle
With Wiggins only scoring five points, I have to wonder if he is still being bothered by the problem he has with his foot. That is something the Heat have to take into account when considering whether to sign him or not. He has said that the issue is chronic.
maybe good defense.hes old lots wear and tear
He’s also been bothered since his Warriors days with a chronic big toe issue. He mentioned that recently.
at this stage of season there all bruised up rc
Pay attention! He said he has been bothered by the big toe issue. That is why he missed several games recently.
Andrew Wiggins is dealing with left big toe sesamoiditis, an inflammation of the bones and tendons in the ball of his foot, according to SS and cbs sports. The issue, which stemmed from a pre-existing injury during his time with the Golden State Warriors, caused him to miss eight games in March 2026 before returning with the Miami Heat, notes Yahoo Sports
ok but at this stage of the season everybody has aches and pains have u played any sports?no excuses hes wearing down hes old its natural.
Yes, true, but it seems just as likely that it could be the toe injury. And that is not natural, it’s a chronic condition. And I played a lot of nyc type sports and some basketball.
toe injury did it happen on a certain play or is it just a build up of lots bball and something eventually snapping im gonna say the latter .my tennis injuries are just wear and tear
You are unbelievable. As I stated above, with documentation, it was an injury sustained while he was with GS and flares up periodically. It has nothing to do with this season at all. Can playing exacerbate it? I suppose it does. But he had it before he got here.
dav has same build as tyreek hill bet u he played football in high school
love ya ereid games over u getting paid im not lets be real though.im here because of u e reid really love your call.if they had another guy doing games wouldnt be that interested

The Heat taketh and they giveth away.
e reids not rooting for a better pick either am i.u play to win.if u have a chance to get 1 pick and theres a wemby out there ok lose otherwise no.i know were not a good team but u cant tell athletes not to try hard and win doesnt work like that in sports, if u want to rest your better players only way to tank rc
I’m not suggesting they play to lose or try to lose.
In fact, they are playing extremely hard this game.
so what is tanking then
We’ve seen teams with their best players healthy, yet sitting. That’s the worst tanking.
“e reids not rooting for a better pick either am i.u play to win.if u have a chance to get 1 pick and theres a wemby out there ok lose otherwise no.“
Nah you play to win and play in the playin every year duh……….
Sga not wemby
Tatum not wemby
Brown not wemby
Ad not wemby
A 35 year old lebron in the bubble not wemby
Giannis not wemby
A 34 year old curry is not wemby
What about a 33 year old dirk he’s not wemby either. Lmao other players drafted aren’t all wemby you do know this? Maybe not
your not a fan anyway youve never said one nice thing about the team.go hate on some other team
I have no rebuttal
“Your not a fan your a hater”
I’ll be that but you damn sure are a delusional fanboy
But on this issue, I agree with him. And I agreed last season. You don’t seem to care or recognize that last season we not only got swept, but had the worst point differential in the history of the playoffs! It was sickening. You want to test those waters again after watching multiple blowouts the last few weeks? I don’t.
We played so well that quarter. It’s stretches like that that are so impressive. I don’t blame people for expecting more from this team. Sometimes they can look like they can beat anyone.
they tease u
love e reid in this box
joel u and pat should retire together
i know our starters might have been tired so call a to give them a blow they were rolling.
cut it to 6 a spo sub back to 12

murray broyles plays like gardner
i cant wait til tys not on team i will be so happy .
You were upset that Spo took him out earlier, and he’s having a very good game.
Even with Herro committing his fourth foul, I really like how aggressive he has been tonight.
theres one guy on this team that is untradeable in my mind and thats 2015 fav player.we ve seen flashes of greatness that nobody else has like him.hes the only guy that has a chance to be a real diff maker
